Here we are at the start of another new year. Leaping into the unknown. I remember my feelings of excitement and apprehension at the start of our European trip. I knew we would have some interesting experiences, but what they would be, I would only know at the end of the trip. Well, a new year feels just like that. In hindsight you can see where you have been and the choices you made to get you there, but you still have to go through it to get there. 2009 was difficult. Malcolm's health was terrible, hospital 7 times. The stress was evident by the end of the year, I was exhausted. I guess I still am. At the moment I have a head cold, coughing, sneezing, headache etc. Perhaps I will have some time to set some goals.Mimi Kirchner has a great way of reviewing her year and her next year's goals see her blog at

So I will take some time to do some planning for the new year, let's see what I can come up with....
